ISTP31 ONLINE
Due to the COVID-19 situation, the PCTFE decided to move ISTP31 online. Travel restrictions, national event rules, and health considerations no longer allow the symposium to proceed in the traditional face-to-face format in 2020. Therefore, it has been decided to organize ISTP31 as an online event during the same period of the planned physical event scheduled to Honolulu, from October 13 to 16, 2020. We expect that most of the contributions can move online. An adjusted timetable and sufficient technology support will be arranged to make this a good experience for all.
All papers will be peer reviewed and published in the ISTP31 proceedings. An online conference environment will be set up to allow authors of accepted papers. There is no change in the submission process. Technical details concerning the online environment will follow soon. The registration fee will be announced in late June, and it is expected to be reduced.

Welcome to the 31st International Symposium on Transport Phenomena
Welcome to the 31st International Symposium on Transport Phenomena (ISTP31).
For the first time since 1985, the 31st International Symposium on Transport Phenomena will be held in Honolulu on the 13th to 16th of October in 2020. This symposium provides a forum for researchers, scientists, engineers and students from all over the world to exchange information, to present new information and to engage in discussion on the future directions and priorities in the areas of transport phenomena. The renewal and making of friendship for participants are the further objectives of the ISTP-31 for the future world.
Transport phenomena include the flow of fluid, heat and mass transfer, multiphase flow, micro and nano problems, thermal management of electric and electronic systems, energy conversion and saving technologies both on the ground and in space, and so on.
